The Soil Health Institute, a joint effort by the Noble Foundation and the Farm Foundation, released a plan Thursday detailing its goal to engage researchers, farmers, businesses and other foundations to improve the health of soils for food production.
July corn was up 1 3/4 cents, July soybeans were up 3 cents, and July Chicago wheat was up 3 cents.
Look for the cattle complex to open moderately higher, supported by follow-through buying and cash premiums. Similarly, lean hog futures should also begin this morning with a firm undertone thank to bull spreading and spillover buying.
